Whop Payment Processing Fees Explained

Whop is a platform designed for selling digital products, memberships, and access to communities. Their fee structure is designed to be competitive with traditional payment processors while offering additional features for digital creators.

Payment Processing Fees

• Credit/Debit Cards: 2.7% + $0.30 per successful transaction for domestic cards
• International Cards: Additional 1.5% fee for cards issued outside your country
• Currency Conversion: Additional 1% when conversion is required
• ACH Bank Transfers: 1.5% per transaction (maximum $5)
• Klarna/Afterpay (Financing): 15% per successful transaction

Platform Fee (3%)

The 3% platform fee is only charged when using Whop's automation features, including:

• Discord integration and access management
• Telegram group automations
• Trading View alerts and signals
• Other webhook-based automations

If you're not using any automations, you only pay the standard payment processing fees.

Security & Fraud Prevention (Optional)

• 3D Secure (3DS): $0.03 per transaction for card authentication
• Radar (ML Fraud Detection): $0.07 per transaction for machine learning-based fraud prevention
• Dispute Alerts: $15 per dispute, with early dispute alerts (RDR) at $29

Revenue Optimization Features (Optional)

• Orchestration: 0.8% per transaction for payment routing across multiple providers
• Automated Billing: 0.5% per transaction for subscription lifecycle management
• Tax & Remittance: 0.5% per transaction for global tax management and compliance

Whop offers multiple ways to receive your earnings:

• Next-day ACH: $2.50 per payout
• Instant Bank Deposit (RTP): 4% + $1.00
• Cryptocurrency: 5% + $1.00
• Venmo: 5% + $1.00
• Wire Transfer: $23.00 per transfer
